To order it is not a problem, but there was a mistake in the order, it is not the right trailer hitch, so I wanted to return it to change the trailer hitch, but nobody wanted to help me, because the return costs xxx$ Canadian, which is the price of the trailer hitch. So no I didn't get a good after sales service
The trailer hitch was delivered exactly on the date expected, and installed the next day. It fit like a glove and was very easy to install, even for a guy like myself with no mechanical experience. With the help of a friend to more easily hold the bar in place while installing, it fit in there pretty snug. We had to use a small pry-bar to get it over the edge on one side, but it worked really well. You could maybe muscle it up there, but the pry-bar made it much easier. The bolts screwed in easily as well. Overall install took about 30 minutes or so, mostly just screwing in the 6 bolts. Used it immediately with a new trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier and that fit perfectly. Excellent price and easy to install!

One person install takes some time and driver side of muffler must be dropped. I haven't used the hitch yet, next summer it should get a workout. Unit seems to be very sturdy.
Box was extremely damaged, numerous holes, middle of both sides had holes, sides were open partially, hardware consisted (2) bolts, one washer. I opened the box Saturday afternoon to install on the Mitsubishi Outlander SLE, now waiting for response from etrailer.

Hitch was easy to install and works well. It does partially block the hands free lift gate sensor, but not a big deal. I bought the factory wiring harness and that was time consuming to install.
Receive the wrong item. I ordered a trailer hitch and the tail light converter. I received 2 tail light converters and not the trailer hitch even after I called to resolve this matter. It’s over a month now and still don’t have the trailer hitch.

It fit my standard 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander as promised.
Excellent product, I received it sooner than expected, I installed it right away. Probably the easiest hitch I have ever installed. I think in the past customers complained about packaging and received scratched hitches, etrailer must have listened, this one was boxed up with extra protection in all the right areas, not a mark on it!!! Flawless!!! Thank You!!!

Perfect, absolutely satisfaction!!!
mounting flanges where toed in 3/4" and had to be straighten in order to install. after installation foot controlled rear hatch no longer works.
Easiest Curt hitch install yet. No fishing wires required.
Item arrived fairly fast like within 2 days. The item was not damaged although the Box did have a hole in it from the weight of the receiver which is kind of to be expected all of the bolts and hardware and instructions were there it was very easy to put on took me about 30 minutes and you do not have to drop the exhaust you just have to put the left side on first over top the exhaust and then the right side you just have to use a little bit of strength and push it up on there so you can get the bolts then once that's done the six bolts go in Fairly easily and the hitch is on and working perfect. Thank you etrailer for allowing me to order this part as the dealer wanted $1,500 for a new one which was basically the same. I would say difficulty in installing was just a matter of getting up under your vehicle if you can jack one side up or the other or the back and put jack stands that makes it easier I was able to lay on the ground and do it myself without a problem helps to be a little bit flexible. I would say pretty much anyone could put that hitch on it's very simple. Thanks again and I will order more products from you in the near future. Move on to something else

This is the 4th Class III Curt hitch purchased in the past 10 years from etrailer. We currently have Curt hitches on a 2020 Ford Explorer and a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander. We use this hitch with a Hollywood Racks bike rack for 4 bikes, also purchased from etrailer. We also HAD Curt Class III hitches on a 2011 Dodge Nitro and 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and never had any issues or trouble after thousands of miles of use. Curt hitches are highly recommended for those who buy SUVs that do not come standard with a Class III hitch. A+++
Hitch is very well built. This was a great price for this product as I searched several places and etrailer has everyone beat. The website is very user friendly and selecting the correct hitch was simple.
Installation was fairly easy as others mentioned. I would definitely recommend 2 people to install. I did not have to lower the exhaust, though that may have made it simpler. You will want to install the drivers’ side first as you have to snake around the exhaust without damaging it and may have to use a rubber mallet on the hitch to get the holes to line up as it is a snug fit. The bolts are fairly easy to access on both sides.
The hitch fits great avoiding all the extra body pieces and parts and has a very low profile. The “hands free” trunk sensor was partially obstructed, but still works fine. You may have to turn off your rear sensors once you place a cargo basket or bike rack on as it will beep non-stop.
Definitely recommend!
Bolts right up to the Mitsubishi. Quick install. Line up and install all bolts by hand, then follow up with wrench/ratchet and torque wrench and you'll be fine.
Received hitch; the shipping box was torn pretty badly. On arrival, the hitch is outside the box enough, to look like it was on stilts at my doorway. The hitch is a gift for my wife and hasn’t been installed yet. I did check contents with the paint slightly rubbed away in multiple spots. Installation bolts are present and tapped tightly to the hitch. I’m assuming the hitch will still work as intended, as it appears well made. I’m a return customer, happy with most customer care aspects from etrailer.com. This shipping experience isn’t what I expected, but I do like their usual prices and product quality from previous purchases.
excellent hitch! Install was easy. Just a little tight to mount on the drivers side. Had to wiggle it and use a little persuasion to get it in. ( see photos ) The only other problem was the rear kick feature for the rear hatch door. It worked fine with the hitch installed but no longer works after I installed the trailer wiring harness. I thinks its because of the 4 way flat trailer connector and the green tail light wires that run underneath the bumper. I believe they are causing interference.

Product is still functioning properly. The harness wires cause some interference when trying to open the rear hatch door with the kick feature.
Fit perfectly on my 24 outlander and super easy to install. Should work well with my bike rack and cargo basket

Easy plug and play for 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander. The muffler does not need to be removed for installation.
Great hitch had it installed at Mitsubishi dealer but I had to get thier wiring harness for my outlander
